And if you’re ordering anywhere near Chinese New Year (usually late January–February) or Golden Week (early October), add 2–4 weeks; factories close completely and reopen with full order backlogs. What I’d Do Differently (Lessons from 10 Years)

  1. Designing packaging before the product is finalized. Box dimensions should be locked to the final product spec, or you’ll reprint at your own cost.
